Michael Barkett was born and raised in Oklahoma and has practiced law here for more than 30 years. He graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1994. He has tried more than 80 jury trials to verdict, including a $25 million defamation verdict and a $20 million wrongful death verdict.
Michael is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state and federal courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2011 and received the America's Top 100 Attorneys Lifetime Achievement Award.
Rusty Smith grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and has spent nearly 25 years in civil trial litigation in Oklahoma and across the country. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 and his J.D. from the OU College of Law in 2002. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death and complex civil disputes, including cases that cross state lines.
Rusty is admitted to all Oklahoma state courts, the Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit and the courts of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers for several consecutive years.
